1st Annual Eagle Nest Lake State Park Paddle It!

Canoe, Kayak & Paddle Board Races and Recreational Paddle

Dear Friend,

The 1st Annual Eagle Nest Lake State Park Paddle It! Canoe, Kayak & Paddle Board Races and Recreational Paddle will take place at the Park Visitor Center on Sunday, July 1, 2018. The event has been organized by the Enchanted Circle Gateway Museum, The Friends of Eagle Nest Lake State Park & The Village of Eagle Nest.

This is a KEYSTONE EVENT in the 9-day Eagle Nest Dam 100th Anniversary Celebration. New Mexico State Officials are expected to participate in the celebration. Our goal is to raise the “seed money” needed to stage the event. Particularly this 1st year, funds are needed for initial purchases of marine rope, buoys, anchors, etc. Our Volunteers will donate untold hours to make, place and remove navigation buoys, buoy anchors and to staff, assist and educate spectators and participants. The Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails will work with local volunteers to ensure the success of this Keystone Event.

In order to meet this goal, we are asking for sponsorship from local businesses and individuals such as yourself. We ask that you consider a sponsorship donation of $100 or $200 or more as the “seed money” for this event. Your tax-deductible donation will be recognized at our event in several ways. As a sponsor, your name will be placed on all materials that publicize the event as well as announced verbally at the event itself. We hope that we can count on you to help support our cause. If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, please feel free to contact us at 505-603-9985.

Thanks in advance for your consideration and support.

Sincerely,

Jack Schweitzer
